Ethiopia Food and Drug Authority officially has launched the new Brand of the institution with a great celebrations.
At launching ceremony held at Skylight Hotel on July 7, 2022 at state minister of Health, Dr. Dereje Duguma after his presented and conveyed his message that the branding was made by the authority will enables the authority going forward to the desire level and to create the ownership of the public on the regulations of health and health products.
The state minister, he also urged that the public is not only limited giving report on the regulation activities but also to obey for the various guidelines issued by the authority and in promoting and building a new image of the authority.
Heran Gereba, General Director of the authority during her opening speeches said that the main objective of making the branding has based on the proclamation the authority by creating the new logo, names and identity of the institution in order to keep the authority in the mind and hearts of the society.
In these regards, the authority has developed a research – based scientific method standardized brand by consulting firm she mentioned, and officially announced the lunching of the branding to the public. She also indicated that the new branding would help to realize the authority vision to be a center of excellence in food and health products regulation in Africa
At the end of the event, a certificate of appreciation was handed over by Dr. Dereje and Ms Heren to those who supported the work with ideas, knowledge and finance, directly or indirectly participating and supporting the branding project.
